Douglas F. Dompkowski, DDS

Course Description:
This interactive full day lecture followed by a hands-on demonstration will illustrate why the use of a dual axis implant, together with a screw-retained restoration, can help maximize bone and soft tissue volume for aesthetic anterior restorations.

Immediate implant placement in the anterior maxilla remains one of implant dentistry’s most challenging procedures. Anatomic challenges often result in a compromised prosthetic position leading to cement-retained restorations or the use of angled abutments. Subcrestal Angle Correction® allows for an ideal implant placement into patient available bone, while still providing an optimal restorative result.

• Learn new techniques for optimizing aesthetics in the anterior maxilla with Subcrestal Angle Correction
• Examine Tissue management guidelines for preserving the natural gingival architecture post treatment
• Understand the benefits provided when using a dual axis implant in full arch application
• Understand the long-term benefits of a screw-retained immediate provisional and final restoration
